I'm baaaaack!

well then, the last few months have been jam packed with drama. I'm just done. So here I am again, back into the bloggosphere, ready to muse away at the world, Family and our Ulitmate Purpose in life.

Traditional Housewifely Skills

I have recently discovered that there is a huge shortage of information when it comes to traditional "Women's work" There is no exhaustive tome covering all of the skills that Homemakers used to have to do. We do have volumes of works on how to get better organized, how to clean more efficiently and even on how to grow and preserve our own food. Today the very necessary skills of spinning, knitting, brewing, herbalisim and a host of others have been relegated to "hobby" status, and have become extreemly specialized and segregated. The knitter may not know how to spin her own wool, and almost certianlly does not know how to shear the sheep.
Iam extreemly disappointed in this and am now attempting to collect a list of links and book titles that will encompass all of these lost arts, from "sheep to shawl" in a cohesive and flowing manner.
